24-Apr-2026 The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) received funding from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Technical Support Project for the Restoration of the Ecological and Economic Functions of the Lake Chad Basin. The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) plans to allocate part of the funds from this grant to finance a contract to conduct technical studies, including PPD and DPD, to improve the hydraulic capacity of the Chari-Logone system and the Komadougou-Yobe basin, and to support the development of Lake Chad.
