Description
Work Safe Victoria is seeking the services of a suitably qualified organisation(s) to provide an Employee Assistance Program , Critical incident , and proactive Early Intervention services at all sites and locations of work.
WorkSafe is seeking responses for the delivery of these Services from October 2026, for an initial three-year term, with the option for extension by a further three-year term.
Service - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) / Critical Incident (CI)
EAP - WorkSafeโs EAP aims to assist and support WorkSafe employees reduce stress by resolving or working through personal, family and/or workplace issues. ย The EAP is a short term, confidential, professional, psychological counselling service, typically initiated by the employee. ย Employees retain responsibility for their own treatment and other choices. EAP services include telephone, online and face to face counselling options.
CI - CI services are based on early intervention principles, to support challenging workplace events that have a probability of causing employee distress.
Service - Early Intervention (EI)
EI - programs are proactive psychological coaching services to employees in teams at risk of cumulative trauma. They are considered best practice controls in high-risk settings where employees have frequent exposure to traumatic events and content, violence and aggression, contacts in distress or contacts who demonstrate unreasonable and vexatious behaviours.
