The Ministry of Agriculture invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction of Learning Center at GSA Livestock Farm, Agriculture Road, Mon Repos, E.C.D., Region No.4
The construction period is One-Hundred and Fifty calendar (150) days.
The Engineer’s Estimate for the completion of works is $25M.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, specified in the Procurement Act 2003 and is open to all bidders.
Qualifications requirements include but are not limited to the following:
a) Completion of at least three (3) jobs of a similar nature, in the last three (3) years
b) Valid NIS and GRA Compliances
c) Valid Business Registration
A complete set of Bidding Documents (in pdf on a Flash Drive) may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Guyana dollars (G$3,000). The Commencement date for the inspection/acquisition of Bidding Documents is March 24, 2026. The Bidding Documents may be inspected/acquired during normal working hours.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Guyana School of Agriculture, Agriculture Road, Mon Repos, E.C.D., Region No.,4.
The Bidder will be required to:
- Submit one (1) Hardcopy and an electronic copy (flash drive only) with an exact PDF version
of the hard copy tender (Applicable).
- Ensure the envelopes of the hardcopy and electronic copy are identically labelled (Applicable).
- The Electronic copy (flash drive) should be placed in a smaller envelope and properly affixed to the hard copy submission (Applicable).
Bids must be delivered to the address below before 9:00 hours on April 30, 2026. Late Proposals will be rejected. Proposals will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below:
