Description
The objective of the drone service is to provide a safe, efficient, and high-quality aerial capability to support operational, safety, environmental, and asset management activities across the Port of Townsville precinct. The service is intended to enhance situational awareness, improve the timeliness and accuracy of data collection, reduce reliance on manual or high-risk inspection methods, and support informed decision-making. Drone operations are expected to be conducted in compliance with all applicable CASA aviation, maritime, safety, security, and privacy requirements while minimising disruption to Port of Townsville operations.
