Description
This procurement seeks innovative and capable partners to install rooftop solar and battery systems on approx. 7,500 social housing properties in the ACT, and to operate and maintain these assets as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
The project aims to deliver tangible benefits to social housing tenants by reducing energy bills and supporting a fair and inclusive energy transition. The project will also contribute to energy system reliability and local economic development.
The Territory intend to run a two-stage process for this procurement: an open Expression of Interest (EOI), followed by a limited Request for Proposal (RFP).
