Central Electricity Board (CEB) INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) (Authorised under Section 14(2) of the Public Procurement Act 2006) (as amended) Procurement of Grid-Tie Roof-Mounted Solar PV Systems for a total cumulative capacity of 4 MWp on Public Buildings and Centralised BESS in the Republic of Mauritius Open International Bidding CPB ref: CPB/12/2026 The Central Electricity Board is inviting bids from eligible bidders of Mauritian nationals or entities incorporated in Mauritius through the Government e-Procurement System for the Procurement of Grid-Tie Roof-Mounted Solar PV Systems for a total cumulative capacity of 4 MWp with BESS on Public Buildings in the Republic of Mauritius. Bidding documents may be downloaded from the e-Procurement System https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org. Reference Number on the system is CEB/IFB/2026/10805.
Bids must be submitted online on the e-Procurement System by Tuesday 02 June 2026 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian Time) at latest. Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids on Tuesday 02 June 2026 as from 14.31 hours (Mauritian time) till Thursday 04 June 2026 up to 14.00 hours (Mauritian Time). Bidders must submit an Original Bid Security amounting to MUR 2.4M at the address mentioned below on or before the deadline for submission of the bids. The Bid Security shall be valid up to 28 December 2026.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Friday 08 May 2026 at 10.00 hours (Mauritian time) at the Conference Room, 3rd Floor, New Building, CEB Office, Royal Road, Curepipe, followed by a site visit to view some public buildings and CEB’s 2 MW PV Henrietta Site where the 1 MW/2 MWh BESS will be located. Bids will be opened online on the e-Procurement System on Thursday 04 June 2026 as from 14.01 hours up to 18.00 hours at the following address: The Conference Room, Central Procurement Board, 1st Floor, Social Security House, Julius Nyerere Avenue, Rose-Hill, Republic of Mauritius The Central Electricity Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any Bidder.
