The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the provision of installation, testing and commissioning services for a laboratory fume hood extraction system at the Central Forensic Laboratory of the Serviรงo Nacional de Investigaรงรฃo Criminal (SERNIC), located at Avenida Ahmed Sekou Tourรฉ No. 820, Maputo, Mozambique.
This request for expression of interest is issued to identify suitably qualified prospective bidders with the technical capacity, experience, and legal authorization to operate in Mozambique.
The scope of services will include, but will not be limited to:
โข Installation, testing, and commissioning of a LABCONCO Protectorยฎ XStreamยฎ Laboratory Fume Hood
โข Installation of stainless steel exhaust ducting and blower motor
โข Electrical and water connection and installation of gas system.
โข Integration with existing laboratory infrastructure
โข Testing (face velocity, smoke containment, duct leakage, functional testing)
โข Commissioning and handover in compliance with:
o LABCONCO manufacturer specifications and relelvant occupational health and safety standards
The works will be completed on a one time basis, with a maximum mobilization and installation period of 45 calendar days following contract award.
Specific Requirements/Information
Interested companies must be legally registered, licensed, and authorized to operate and perform installation works in the Republic of Mozambique.
