Fluorosilicic Acid Tank Replacement
Description
North East Water invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender for the design and construct delivery of Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) Storage Tank replacements at four (4) North East Water sites.
The successful Tenderer will be engaged as the Principal Contractor and will be responsible for the detailed design, removal, disposal, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Fluorosilicic Acid storage tank systems in accordance with this RFT.
Background:
North East Water has completed a preliminary assessment and associated concept design for the replacement of its Fluorosilicic Acid storage tanks at its water treatment facilities located in Yarrawonga, Benalla, Wangaratta and Wodonga. The existing tanks are nearing the end of their design life and require replacement to ensure ongoing safe, reliable and compliant water treatment operations.
Each site currently utilises a 10,000 L Fluorosilicic Acid storage tank supplying chemical to a day tank for dosing, with a chemical concentration of approximately 24โ25%. Works are required to replace the storage tanks and associated infrastructure on a likeโforโlike basis.
Site Briefing:
Attendance at a mandatory site briefing is a requirement for this Tender.
Site briefings for all four locations will be conducted on Tuesday, 28 April 2026. Tenderers are required to attend the briefing to familiarise themselves with site conditions, access constraints and project requirements prior to submitting a Tender. Tenderers must carefully read all site briefing information provided in this RFT and comply with the attendance and registration requirements.
