Local Facilitator - Angola

Aninver Development Partners SL (www.aninver.com) is looking for a Local Facilitator - Angola for a consultancy assignment in Angola.

Aninver Development Partners is preparing a proposal for a consulting assignment focused on youth employment, skills development, and productive inclusion in Angola. The initiative aims to promote employability, self-employment, and labor-market integration among young Angolans, with particular attention to vulnerable groups, women, and persons with disabilities through comprehensive training and support programs.

To successfully execute our proposal, we are seeking a qualified Local Facilitator in Angola to support local mobilization, stakeholder coordination, and field logistics. This role is crucial for ensuring effective engagement with diverse audiences across different geographical contexts and supporting the implementation of communication and outreach strategies.

Aninver is preparing a proposal for this assignment. The selected expert will be part of the proposed team; the engagement is conditional on the contract being awarded to Aninver. The full Terms of Reference for the position are shared with shortlisted candidates.

Objectives of the assignment

• Support local stakeholder engagement and mobilization for youth employment and communication initiatives.
• Facilitate field logistics and coordination with local partners and institutions in Angola.
• Assist in bridging communication gaps between the project team and diverse regional communities.

Your role as Local Facilitator - Angola

• Serve as the primary on-the-ground liaison for local stakeholder engagement and coordination.
• Manage local field logistics and support the execution of community-level activities.
• Assist in scheduling and organizing meetings, focus groups, and workshops with regional participants.
• Provide local context and logistical support to international and national team members.
• Help navigate administrative and operational procedures at the local level.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in local facilitation, community liaison, or field logistics in Angola.
• Strong familiarity with the local socioeconomic context and regional dynamics of the country.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Working level fluency in Portuguese.
• National of, or based in, the project country

Desirable

• Previous experience supporting international consulting firms or donor-funded projects.
• Working knowledge of English.

An organized and well-connected local professional with strong logistical experience in Angola, capable of seamlessly facilitating field operations and stakeholder engagement for institutional projects.
