  • Screening initial project concepts and supporting the prioritisation of opportunities across sustainable finance and development sectors.
  • Assisting multidisciplinary teams in gathering local data, institutional arrangements, and regulatory information necessary for feasibility and bankability assessments.
  • Supporting the design and execution of stakeholder consultations, workshops, and engagement activities with public and private sector partners.
  • Facilitating logistics and administrative arrangements for field missions and meetings with potential financiers and national counterparts.
  • Contributing to the preparation of reports, briefing notes, and project documentation tailored to the local context of Jordan.

Your role as Local Facilitator - Jordan

  • Serve as the primary in-country focal point for coordinating activities between the project team and Jordanian institutions.
  • Organise and facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations with government officials, local authorities, and private sector representatives.
  • Provide local market insights, contextual analysis, and guidance on administrative and regulatory processes in Jordan.
  • Support international experts in gathering baseline data, conducting technical assessments, and engaging with local financial partners.
  • Assist in translating relevant project documentation, reports, and communications between English and Arabic as needed.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in local stakeholder engagement or project implementation and propose practical, context-specific solutions.
  • Support the preparation of progress reports and documentation reflecting local developments and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, economics, social sciences, public policy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience working within the political, economic, and institutional context of Jordan.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, coordination, and relationship management with public sector institutions and local authorities.
