URBAN PARKS

This tender concerns the provision of services for the maintenance and development of urban parks and green spaces within the Municipality of Burgas. Specifically, Lot 1, titled "URBAN PARKS," covers a significant territorial scope including Primorski Park (Old and New Sections), Lake Park, the coastal promenade from Lake Park to the Sarafoovo district, and St. Anastasia Island. The estimated total area of the developed green spaces is 1160 decares. The scope of work for this lot includes a comprehensive range of activities essential for the upkeep and enhancement of these public areas. Key activities involve the current maintenance of cleanliness within the parks, encompassing park alleys, waste bins (including dog waste bins), sports and play areas, playgrounds, play equipment, and benches. This also includes the collection, transportation, and disposal of technological waste (organic and inorganic), as well as composting of organic waste. Furthermore, the tender covers landscaping of green areas, maintenance and planting of vegetation, upkeep and construction of irrigation systems for green areas and flower displays, and the creation of new green spaces that are part of Burgas Municipality's green system. Afforestation of municipal lands is also included. This procurement aims to ensure the high quality and sustainable management of Burgas's valuable urban green infrastructure.
