2026-0439: Marketing / Remuneration and Utilization of Scrap Metal (AVV 200140 and 170407)

Delivery of scrap metal: The delivery of the aforementioned scrap metal quantities will be carried out by the AG in various skip and roll-on/roll-off containers. In addition, complete steel skip and steel roll-on/roll-off containers as well as emptying containers, underground / semi-underground containers or similar metal containers will be delivered for utilization/scrapping. Deliveries will be made both by container train and by individual container deliveries. Note: Several deliveries may occur on one day, and no deliveries will occur over several days. To ensure smooth delivery, unimpeded/barrier-free access to the facility or handover point must be available. Furthermore, sufficient space must be available on the premises of the facility or handover point for the necessary maneuvering operations, especially for container trains. Deliveries will be made from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Within these periods, the AG must have the opportunity to transfer the collected scrap metal to the AN. A central contact person and a representative on behalf of the AN must be appointed. Remark: The AN must have a facility/takeover point located within a 25 km radius (as the crow flies) of the central depot DU-Hochfeld, Zur Kupferhütte 10, 47053 Duisburg. At the facility, as well as at the handover point, it must be possible to immediately tip the scrap metal delivered in the various containers. "Temporary storage" of the delivered and filled containers is not possible. Likewise, the steel skip and steel roll-on/roll-off containers delivered for utilization must be able to be immediately parked on the premises of the facility/handover point. This also applies to all other metal containers delivered by the AG. All scrap metal waste received on behalf of the AG must be recorded on the officially calibrated scale of the facility or handover point. This must be documented by means of a weighing slip. A duplicate/copy of the weighing slip must be handed over to the AG's driver during the return transport. The weighing slip must contain the following information: - Date and time of delivery at the facility/handover point, - Official license plate of the vehicle, - Name/designation and address of the facility or handover point, - Designation of the waste type with AVV no. 170407 / 200140, - Origin of the delivered waste type (e.g., recycling center, transfer station), - Gross weight, - Net weight. The weights recorded on the scale will serve as the basis for monthly credits/invoices. The quantities of scrap metal to be utilized during the performance period from 01.01.2027 - 31.12.2028 (24 months) are as follows: - AVV 170407 - Commercial area: approx. 1,000 t - AVV 200140 Recycling centers of WBD-AöR, bulky waste collection, transfer station DU-Hochfeld / RZ DU-Nord, internal generation points approx. 3,600 t The quantity data are for calculation purposes only and are not binding commitments for the future. In addition, there are seasonal quantity fluctuations. Changes in quantity within the range of +/- 20% must be factored into the pricing by the bidder and will not lead to a change in the offered conditions. The delivered scrap metal may contain quantities of foreign matter and contaminants (approx. 8 - 10% by weight) such as wood, plastic, rubber, textiles, concrete residues, or similar. The aforementioned quantity of scrap metal will be reduced accordingly. The foreign matter and contaminants will be in loose form, as adhering substances, or in a composite of metal/foreign matter or contaminant.
