Description

Background Sykkylven vidaregåande school needs to replace the existing lathes and milling machines, as the current machines are outdated and do not adequately support the school ́s need for modern and safe training in machining. The procurement shall contribute to ensuring relevant and future orientated training for pupils and a good work tool for teachers. The school has been awarded investment grants for the purpose and would like machines of high quality, high reliability and long lifetime. It is important for tenderers to be aware that the machines shall be included in an existing workshop environment and adapted to the school ́s available area and technical infrastructure. Description of the assignment The procurement is for the delivery of one lathe and one milling machine for use in teaching at Sykkylven vidaregåande school. The machines shall be used by students and teachers in basic training, practical training, tests as well as teaching both manual machining and CNC. Machines are requested that are user friendly, robust and precise and that are well suited for training situations with several pupil groups of different levels. Emphasis will be put on the systems having good security functions, easy to maintain and adapted to the school ́s need for stable operation over time. In addition to the machines themselves, the delivery shall include standard accessories and documentation, transport, display, entry and function test. Furthermore, the tenderer shall provide the necessary training for teachers and workshop managers, as well as deliver relevant safety equipment, suction, maintenance package and operations and service agreement. The machines shall be delivered with the necessary software for operation, operation and teaching purposes.
