Procurement of construction, installation and repair work for video surveillance systems

HUS Kiinteistöt Oy is tendering for the construction, installation and repair work of video surveillance systems required in the hospitals and other facilities located within the operational area of the HUS Group. Such facilities are located especially in the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Hyvinkää, Lohja, Porvoo and Raasepori, but operations also take place in other locations on a smaller scale. The aim of the procurement is to select three (3) contract contractors. The duration of the contract period is two (2) years. The contract includes the possibility of one (1) two (2) year option. For contractors selected for the framework agreement, a mini-competition (project-specific contract) will always be organized for procurements/contracts exceeding the national threshold, based on which the project-specific contractor will be selected. The prices given in the mini-competition must not exceed the prices agreed in the contract. However, the contractor may offer lower prices. For procurements below the national threshold (individual work orders), the contracting authority may procure the necessary work package from the contractor deemed best and most appropriate depending on the situation. In this case, the prices offered by the contractor will be used. The contracting entity also has the right to conduct mini-competitions for procurements below the threshold. The quantity of services to be purchased during the contract period and the locations for which services are procured may vary. The contracting authority does not commit to specific purchase quantities. It is also possible to purchase other products, rental equipment and machinery related to the subject of the procurement, or special expertise, from the contract suppliers. The pricing of these must follow the same principle as the prices given in the offer. The HUS Group has hospital properties, including rented hospitals, totaling approximately 1,300,000 gross sqm. Due to the large property mass, site tours will not be organized. Sites will be familiarized with the contractor upon order. The procurement unit has the right to procure other products, rental equipment and machinery related to the subject of the procurement, or special expertise, from the contract suppliers. The pricing of these must follow the same principle as the prices given in the offer.
