Original language: GermanERZ ist für die fach- und umweltgerechte Entsorgung der in der Stadt Zürich anfallenden Siedlungsabfälle verantwortlich, einschliesslich Altmetall in verschiedenen Qualitäten. Da ERZ die Verwertung von Altmetall nicht selbst erbringt, wird diese Leistung an Dritte vergeben. Die Lieferung des in den Recyclinghöfen gesammelten Altmetalls erfolgt in vier Losen. Die jährliche Sammelmenge im Jahr 2025 betrug insgesamt rund 1’104 Tonnen und wird als stabil eingeschätzt, ist jedoch nicht verbindlich. Nicht Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung sind das Kleinmetall aus den Wertstoff-Sammelstellen der Stadt Zürich (Getränke- und Konservendosen sowie kleine Metallteile), Altmetall aus der Abfuhr Sperrgut sowie Altmetall in Mulden, die ERZ im Auftrag anderer Dienstabteilungen der Stadt Zürich transportiert. Die Zusammenarbeit wird für eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren vom 1. Januar 2027 bis zum 31. Dezember 2028 vereinbart. ERZ behält sich eine einseitige Option zur Verlängerung der Zusammenarbeit um ein weiteres Kalenderjahr vor.
