Vegagerðin býður hér með út gerð hringtorgs á Akrafjallsvegi, á mótum Akrafjallsvegar og Akranesvegar, ásamt nýrri tengingu við Skógarhverfi um Lækjarskóga. Um er ræða gerð hringtorgs, staðsteypt undirgöng undir Akrafjallsveg,stígagerð að undirgöngum, lagningu vatns- og hitaveitulagna og annarra fjarskiptalagna og rafstrengja ásamt færslu núverandi háspennustrengja. Innifalið í verkinu er gerð fyllinga og fergingar, útlögn styrktar- og burðarlags, malbikun, niðurlögn ræsa og uppsetning vegriða, lýsingarbúnaðar, skilta og vegbúnaðar, yfirborðsmerkingar, færsla háspennustrengja og lagning vatns- og hitaveitulagna og annarra strenglagna.
