Description

The Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services (ALSS), through Procurement and Resource Management – North Rural Zone, is inviting proposals from qualified organizations to provide a combination of Career, Employment and Information Services (CEIS) including Workforce Development Services, including but not limited to Resource Centre Services, Service Navigation, Exposure Courses, Career Development Services, Workforce Development Employment Development Activities, Workshops, Wraparound Services, Employer Services and Retention and Sustainment Services and Supports to Albertans residing in the following suburban areas of Edmonton: Sherwood Park and St. Albert.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is a contract selection process to identify organizations whose Services align with the goals of this initiative. It is not a solicitation under the Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or trade agreement obligations.

Proposals must demonstrate the organization’s ability to deliver Career and Employment Services, Workforce Development for Albertans in suburban communities, Resource Centre Services, Employer Services and Retainment and Sustainment Services and Supports.

Proposals must meet the requirements, terms, and conditions outlined in this RFP. Proponents should review all materials carefully. Proposals that do not meet mandatory requirements may not be considered.

Two Contracts will be awarded as part of this RFP.

All questions and any forms of communication between the Proponents and the Province in relation to this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to prmnorth.rfp-proposals@gov.ab.ca by August 13, 2026, and must include the RFP number from the front page. Questions received after this date will be addressed at the discretion of the Province. Answers to all questions will be documented and posted publicly on the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC) website: www.purchasingconnection.ca.
