1. Subject of the contract The client intends to take out combined construction and liability insurance for all parties involved in the construction for the refurbishment of the entire property of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs at Taubenstraße 1 in 10117 Berlin and requires consulting and support from an independent insurance consultant or broker for this purpose. The construction project is to be realized through individual contracts. The subject of this tender are consulting services for insurance services as well as contract, claims, and billing management for all concluded insurance contracts. The services are to be commissioned in stages. Remuneration will be settled as a lump sum for services rendered, independent of premiums, upon proof of performance. Should the client decide after the completion of Stage 1 to realize the construction project through individual contracts for planning services and a general contractor contract, only a reduced service package is to be commissioned in stages. 2. Description of the construction measure The listed building block at Taubenstraße 1/ Mohrenstraße 63 is located in a city center area of Berlin-Mitte. The building complex is to be refurbished for the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), whose primary service location is in the immediate vicinity at Wilhelmstraße 49. The property consists of several individual buildings completed between 1897 and 1916, which have grown together through conversions and extensions into a complex.
