Accompanied Patient Transports (S4)

This tender is aimed at companies whose service offering is focused on accompanied patient transports of category S4 according to the guidelines of the Inter-Association for Rescue Services (IVR). An S4 transport is present if there is no impairment of vital functions or if such impairment can be ruled out. Furthermore, it is not to be expected that medical or nursing interventions will be required during transport. Existing long-term therapies, such as oxygen applications, must be continued without interruption during transport if necessary. The patients to be transported come from a geriatric environment. Therefore, in addition to professional qualifications, high demands are placed on the social and communication skills of the deployed personnel. Calm, respectful and understandable communication, patience, and confident handling of people with neurological impairments such as aphasia, dementia, or disorientation are expected. Providers must have the required professional competence, qualified personnel, and the necessary organizational and operational prerequisites. All permits, approvals, and certifications required for service provision must be submitted with the offer.
