Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard 3.2 Construction Section / Schwanenkampbrücke Geotechnical and Mining Exploration

The existing subsoil in the investigation area is to be explored by means of exploration measures. On the one hand, these exploration measures are geotechnical subsoil investigations to assess the subsoil in its structure and properties with regard to the foundation of the planned structures. On the other hand, mining exploration and, if necessary, securing measures are to be carried out, as the planned expansion route lies within the area of influence of former near-surface hard coal mining. The services described in the present tender thus include the geotechnical subsoil investigations and mining exploration and, if necessary, securing measures in the area of the bridge structure "Schwanenkampbrücke" BA 3.2, which are to take place in the area of the railway tracks of DB InfraGo AG (hereinafter DB) running below the aforementioned bridge. The location of the area of operation is shown in the attached site plans. Subsoil exploration in the area of the bridge abutments, i.e., outside the DB railway tracks, is not the subject of this tender. The mining exploration and, if necessary, securing measures will take place both in the track area and in the area of the bridge abutments. All work is to be carried out in close coordination with the client or the commissioned engineering firm. Only companies listed as qualified companies by Deutsche Bahn AG, including subcontractors, may be employed. Furthermore, a German-speaking authorized representative must be present on site at all times during the work. The eligibility criteria are described in detail in the service description.
