BESRPII ICB 5: Caye Caulker Pre-Primary and Secondary School Campus

Eligible countries are member countries of CDB. Bidders are advised to review the relevant eligibility criteria detailed in Section 4 and conflict of interest provisions in Section 5 of the Procurement Procedures for Projects Financed by CDB (November 2019) as published on CDB’s website. Firms whether applying individually or in the form of a Joint Venture, shall: be legally incorporated or otherwise organized in, and have their principal place of business in an Eligible Country; be more than fifty (50) percent beneficially owned by a citizen or citizens and/or a bona fide resident or residents of an Eligible Country, or by a body corporate or bodies meeting these requirements, as far as the ownership can be reasonably determined; and shall have no arrangement and undertake not to make any arrangement whereby the majority of the financial benefits of the contract, i.e. more than fifty (50) percent of the value of the contract, will accrue or be paid to sub-contractors or sub-consultants that are not from an Eligible Country. Eligible bidders will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted. CAYE CAULKER PRE-PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL CAMPUS An average annual turnover of five million two hundred thousand Belize Dollars (BZ$5,200,000.00) calculated as total certified payments received for contracts and construction related works completed, within the best 2 of the last 5 years. (The best two of the five years (2021 to 2025 will be evaluated). A demonstrable cash flow including access to credit of Six hundred thousand Belize dollars (BZ$600,000.00) of which BZ$300,000.00 must be in liquid cash from a commercial bank or credit union. Specific Experience as prime contractor or lead in a JV (with more than 50% of the responsibility and income of the JV) in at least 3 building construction contracts within the last 10 years under the direct supervision of an independent design Engineer or Architect. Each cited project must have a contract value of at least Three million five hundred Belize Dollars (BZ$3,500,000.00) and include building works with an area of at least 10,000 Square Feet of reinforced concrete and masonry with electrical and plumbing systems. Listed projects must be at least 80% complete.
