Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
This policy brief is intended as an information document as well an advocacy tool for the ILO to present its technical and normative work.
Specifically, it will:
1.
Showcase best practices and best policies levers to advancing Skills and Lifelong Learning for decent work in the Care Economy: Highlight t ILO’s and other UN agencies recent research, technical assistance, and standard-setting work regarding skills and lifelong learning in the care economy.
2.
Provide Actionable Recommendations: Offer concrete, evidence-based policy recommendations to help governments design and implement inclusive skills policy levers and other policy levers that connects skills and lifelong learning with decent work in the care sector.
There should be dedicated recommendations for migrant workers and workers in the informal economy.
The primary audience includes national policymakers, specifically those shaping TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) systems, labour market policies, and health/social care strategies.
Secondary audiences include social partners (employers' and workers' organizations), civil society, and international development partners.
