Agency: ILO | Reference: rfx_7340_ROAS | Type: Call for individual consultants
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The assignment supports the ILO Durable Solutions Project in conducting a tracer survey of 1,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan as part of a broader assessment covering Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan between August 2026 and June 2027.
Building on previous Skills Profiling Assessment findings, the study will generate evidence on return intentions and decisions, labour market opportunities, and barriers to sustainable reintegration.
It will examine return patterns, employment prospects in key sectors, gender- and vulnerability-related labour market challenges, and the impact of debt on return and post-return economic vulnerability.
The consultant is expected to deploy and manage data collection using mobile platforms such as KoboToolbox.
Surveys will be conducted in Arabic and English, primarily by phone, with in-person interviews undertaken where necessary.
The consultant will pilot-test questionnaires, ensure data quality through monitoring and validation mechanisms, and implement revisions approved by the ILO.
Key responsibilities include participation in training, questionnaire refinement and testing, conducting and validating interviews, following up on incomplete responses, performing consistency checks, and entering data into designated digital platforms.
The consultant will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all collected data.
If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you.
