Description

The City of Calgary operates a “Solar Centaur 50–6201 GS” combustion turbine at the Power Generation & Heating Plant of Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment facility. The turbine utilizes biogas produced from the plant’s anaerobic digesters to generate power for plant operations. The turbine is an important component of the plant's power generation system, and reliable operation is required to support on-going wastewater treatment operations. “Notice is hereby given by The City of Calgary (“The City”) of its intent to enter into a contract with Solar Turbines Canada Ltd. for the provision of supply of maintenance, servicing, and planned overhauls for the gas turbine generator set and associated equipment for the next 9 years.
