The Republic of Malawi MINISTRY OF HEALTH & SANITATION (GLOBAL FUND/GAVI - PIU) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TENDER NOTICE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Completion of Construction Works for the Vaccine Stores at Domasi Community Hospital in Zomba PROCUREMENT REFERENCE: MOH/NCB/W/GAVI/2026/004 1. The Government of Malawi has been receiving support from the Global Fund and Gavi since 2003 and 2002, respectively. The Ministry of Health & Sanitation (MOH) serves as the public-sector Principal Recipient (PR) of the Global Fund and Gavi grants. To effectively administer and manage these grants, the Ministry established a Programme Implementation Unit (PIU) to undertake key functions of the Principal Recipient and support the achievement of the grants’ underlying strategic objectives. 2. The Ministry of Health & Sanitation has budgeted resources under the GAVI Grant to finance the implementation of various interventions. Accordingly, the Ministry now invites interested and eligible bidders to participate in the tender for the completion of construction works of the Vaccine Stores at Domasi Community Hospital. 3. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding procedures set out in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA) Act 2025 and its associated Regulations. Detailed bidder qualification requirements and evaluation criteria are set out in the bidding document for this tender. 4. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Kwacha only). The fee should be deposited into the MINISTRY OF HEALTH – GAVI Account Number 17845012 maintained at NBS Bank City Centre Branch; cash will not be accepted. The bidding documents can be reviewed and collected from the address below from Wednesday, 30th September 2026 between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
