Description

The Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is implementing the first operation of the Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects (CCLIP) titled "Support for Educational Recovery and Transformation" (GY-L1079). This project aims to contribute to human capital development by improving learning environments and expanding educational services for vulnerable students, with a specific focus on Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND). The Ministry of Education now invites suitably qualified persons to fill this role. RESPONSIBILITY To strengthen the capacity of the RSNEC to assess, manage, and support students with behavioural and developmental challenges through direct service delivery, capacity building, and systems strengthening. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS a. Minimum Master’s degree in Behavioural Therapy, Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or related field. b. Progressively responsible experience in behavioural assessment and intervention, working with children with SEND c. Experience in school‑based or clinical settings directly related to the tasks in the ToR: d. Experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing intervention plans e. Experience training educators and caregivers f. Experience integrating behavioural strategies into Individualized Education Plans or similar individualised plans.
