09-Jul-2026 The services provided for under this contract shall include the development and implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) designed to integrate and optimise data relating to road safety and road transport in Cameroon. The services provided for under this contract shall include the development and implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) with a view to integrating and optimising data relating to road safety and road transport in Cameroon. These shall include, among other things, (i) carrying out an inventory of data sources, as well as the spatial collection of field data to feed into the GIS; (ii) the design and development of a Geographic Information System for Road Safety Management; (iii) support for the roll-out of the Geographic Information System and its smooth operation; (iv) training of trainers in the use of the system and the provision of a procedures manual for the system maintenance. https://www.afdb.org/sites/default/files/documents/project-related-procurement/past-iv_ami_eng_selection_of_consultant_establish_geographic_information_system_gis.pdf
