D1 Turany - Hubová, construction works

The subject of the order is the construction of the D1 Turany — Hubová motorway section with a total length of 13.53 km, including the Korbeľka and Havran tunnels. The proposed section of the motorway includes a total of ten permanent bridge structures, four of which are directly on the motorway and two are ecoducts. In addition to permanent bridges, one temporary bridge over the Váh river made of steel prefabricated structures is also designed, which is part of the temporary access routes during the motorway construction. To eliminate land acquisition, ensure the stability of the D1 motorway body, and protect against the effects of floods, retaining and abutment walls are designed. As part of the D1 construction, 3 retaining walls and 2 abutment walls are designed. The construction area is crossed by several overhead and underground utility networks - water pipes, gas pipes, high-voltage lines, and extra-high, high, and low-voltage lines, long-distance and local telecommunication lines and networks. All affected lines will be relocated or protected to the extent required by the construction in accordance with the requirements of the respective administrators. In the final section of the D1 Turany — Hubová motorway, the Švošov Management and Maintenance Center is designed within accessible distance from the Hubová interchange, accessible by a new bridge over the Váh river.
