Public Procurement for Waste Management Services

This tender concerns the delegation of public waste management services for localities, encompassing a comprehensive range of activities. The awarded economic operator will be responsible for sorting paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, and glass waste collected separately from municipal waste at sorting stations. This includes the transportation of residues resulting from sorting to waste disposal sites and/or energy recovery facilities, with an estimated quantity of 1,196 tons. Additionally, the contract covers the aerobic treatment of separately collected bio-waste at a composting facility, including the transport of residues to waste disposal sites, estimated at 1,292 tons. The scope also includes the mechanical-biological treatment of residual waste at treatment plants, with the transport of biologically stabilized waste to disposal sites and/or energy recovery facilities, estimated at 6,274 tons. Finally, the operator will manage the disposal, through landfilling, of residual waste and residues, street waste, earth and stone waste from public roads, and waste that cannot be recovered from interior and/or exterior renovation and rehabilitation activities of dwellings, estimated at 4,696.38 tons. The technical specifications and minimum quality requirements are detailed in the Terms of Reference. Offers not fully complying with these minimum requirements will be deemed non-compliant and rejected. The public procurement delegation procedure will result in a single delegation contract for a duration of 24 months, with a possibility of extension as per public procurement law.
