Description

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (the CCCCC) has received financing from the “Green Climate Fund” toward the cost of the project titled The R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) for Climate Resilience Wastewater Systems in Barbados (3R-CReWS) project and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the contracting of a “Develop and Implement a Risk Management Framework for BWA's Upgraded Bridgetown Sewage Treatment Plant and Related Infrastructure”. The Objective of the consultancy is to develop, implement, and embed a comprehensive, participatory, and sustainable Risk Management Framework (RMF) that establishes a uniform process for identifying, assessing, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting on all new PROJECT RELATED risks across the Barbados Water Authority. The framework will be developed in consultation with all relevant departments, will be implemented by BWA staff during the two-year construction period, and will be evaluated at the end of the project to assess the sustainability of additional BWA’s operations. This will cover hazard analysis, critical control points and limits, monitoring, corrective actions, verification and record keeping. Project closes Sep 11, 2026 2:00 PM -06.
