18-Jun-2026 The Abia State Government has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (ABSIIDP) , and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services for the Engagement of a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (ABSIIDP) . ABSIIDP focuses primarily on the rehabilitation, upgrading, and expansion of key urban and inter-urban road networks, alongside complementary interventions designed to enhance mobility, improve access to markets and social services, and strengthen overall urban resilience. The project targets the rehabilitation of 248 km of urban and peri-urban roads in Umuahia and Aba, erosion-control interventions, and solid waste management improvements.
