Renewal of Vehicle Restraint Systems D292LR

This tender concerns the comprehensive renewal and upgrade of vehicle restraint systems (VRS) along the D292LR route. The scope of work involves several key activities aimed at enhancing road safety and traffic management. Specifically, the project includes the opening and closing of two central reservation crossings equipped with concrete VRS. A significant portion of the work involves the removal, temporary storage, and reinstallation of approximately 1,000 linear meters (lfm) of concrete VRS within the central reservation. Furthermore, approximately 1,800 meters of steel VRS located in the central and side strips will be dismantled and disposed of. Concurrently, approximately 1,300 lfm of steel VRS in the central and side strips will be removed, temporarily stored, and then reinstalled. The project also entails the construction of new VRS, including approximately 2,500 meters of concrete VRS in the central reservation and approximately 3,200 meters of steel VRS along the carriageway edges, including ramps. The scope further includes the installation of associated transition elements and connecting pieces for both steel and concrete VRS. Additionally, approximately 30 cubic meters (cbm) of reinforced concrete strip foundations for steel VRS will be demolished and rebuilt. Finally, the tender covers the supply and installation of guide posts and reflectors.
