, possibly divided into lots Type of service: Replacement construction retaining wall sidewalk K 1296 Scope of service: To ensure traffic safety, the sidewalk along the K1296 in the Elbenau district and outside the village area is to be renovated. The section of the K1296 to be renovated is located in the Salzlandkreis district, between the districts of Grünewalde and Plötzky, north of Schönebeck (Elbe), along the village road in Elbenau and on open stretches outside Elbenau. Construction begins immediately at the start of the wing extension of the culvert structure and ends after approx. 145 m. The main objective is the renovation of the sidewalk with the elimination of massive settlement damage. The old retaining wall segments (wing extension of the bridge) are to be demolished down to the abutment wall, at the foundation level of the new prefabricated retaining wall elements. In the course of sidewalk renovation along the K1296, the construction of retaining walls in the form of angle support elements is required over a length of approx. 60 m. This allows for the creation of a uniform cross slope on the sidewalk, which is no longer present due to ground settlement. The adjustment of the cross slope is also intended to prevent the repeated washing out of the pedestrian and cycle path.
