Screed Floors The building complex currently consists of the residential wing with various extensions and the separate workshop building to the north. A connecting building is located between them. The workshops will be retained with partial structural interventions. The connecting building and the residential building will be completely replaced. The new building will present itself as an inviting, functional structure with a pitched roof and solid construction. In addition to technical, storage, and changing rooms, the basement primarily comprises areas for the garden and laundry. The ground floor houses administrative, meeting, therapy, and common rooms, as well as the production kitchen. The dining room can be divided using partition walls, making the space available for different needs and allowing for high flexibility. The single-story connecting wing between the existing workshop building and the new residential home contains the reception. It also houses a multi-functional common room and general toilet facilities. A particular highlight is the direct access from the common room to the courtyard. A terrace is planned on top of the connecting wing. The two upper floors each contain two residential groups. A total of 20 rooms will be available for residents. They will be equipped with the necessary sanitary infrastructure. Some rooms will be set up for medical care. The entire building complex will be heated by the already completely renovated wood chip heating system. All building services are based on low-tech principles. Primary ventilation is achieved conventionally through natural window ventilation. A photovoltaic system on the main roof will supply self-generated electricity. The building envelope meets the requirements for Minergie. The four residential groups are flexibly designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals with autism, dementia, palliative care needs, and the elderly.
