Background Ladenwandgut The Ladenwandgut area has been used as a allotment garden area since the 20th century. The original extent of the garden plots covered the entire area between the Stöckacker quarter and the Steigerhubel railway junction. In 2019, an area-wide usage and development concept (NEK) for the Ausserholigen Mitte open space was developed. A concept was also explicitly developed for the Ladenwandgut family garden facility and the Ladenwandweg. In connection with the neighboring area development of the ewb/BLS area, various new open spaces, such as a new neighborhood park, are planned and must be coordinated with the designated areas in Ladenwandgut. In some cases, areas must be proven on the Ladenwandgut properties for the approval of the ewb/BLS area. The Ladenwandgut area is part of the zoning plan "Areal Stöckackerstrasse 33 – Ladenwandgut". In the first step of its creation, the "hard" framework conditions, such as development corridors, play areas, and proof areas, were established.
