- The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) in the form of a “credit” (hereinafter called “credit” toward the cost of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES). The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), State Coordination Office Jos intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Establishment of comprehensive pasture production on 500 hectares in the three senatorial zones at Shendam (100 Hectares), Panyam Fish Farm (200 Hectares) and Barc Farms Zalaki (200 Hectares). Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES), Plateau State Coordination Office (SCO) and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement. The Plateau L-PRES now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of poultry hub at kuru livestock complex in Plateau State with a completion period of 12 months. The margin of Preference shall not be allowed.

- Bidding will be conducted through open national competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing, Revised Editon of February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), address available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from State Project Coordination Office - Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Adjacent NDA Base Camp Angle D Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 0900-1600 at the address given below.
- The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000.00) only in the bidder’s company name. The method of payment will be by direct transfer from firms’ account in favour of the following account:1210440822- Zenith Bank, Account Name: Plateau State L-PRES Govt Cp Fund Ac. Proof of payment to be presented at the address below. At the bidder's request, the documents could also be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 noon (local time) on Monday August 24th, 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 12 noon on Monday August 24th, 2026.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” in the amount stated above and a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
