YKAN menghadirkan solusi inovatif untuk mewujudkan keselarasan antara alam dan manusia melalui tata kelola sumber daya alam yang efektif, pendekatan non-konfrontatif, serta kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pihak demi Indonesia yang lestari. Sejak tahun 2024, Program Kelautan YKAN melakukan pendampingan di Pulau Teon Nila Serua (TNS), Kabupaten Maluku Tengah, Provinsi Maluku. Fokus utama program ini adalah perlindungan efektif kawasan dan pengelolaan berkelanjutan terhadap sumberdaya laut di sekitar TNS secara ekologi, dan secara sosio-ekonomi untuk meningkatkan mata pencaharian masyarakat adat dan komunitas lokal atas sumberdaya yang tersedia, penguatan hak kelola masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sumberdaya, peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan perikanan skala kecil, dan penguatan serta adaptasi ketahanan iklim untuk masyarakat di pesisir Pulau TNS. Dalam mengimplementasikan program pendampingan tersebut, YKAN memerlukan tenaga Fasilitator Lokal di tingkat lapangan, yang memiliki peran penting dalam memfasilitasi, mengedukasi, dan mendampingi masyarakat guna memastikan berjalan dan tercapainya tujuan program secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.
