In het kader van deze Aanbesteding is Opdrachtgever voornemens financiële educatie lessen voor het VO in te kopen. De Opdracht wordt geplaatst door de gemeente en samenwerkingsverband Samenwerkingsverband voortgezet onderwijs Amsterdam-Diemen gezamenlijk. De gemeente is voor deze aanbesteding aanspreekpunt. De opdracht betreft het verzorgen van lessen financiële educatie op alle niveaus van het voortgezet onderwijs in Amsterdam voor de schooljaren 2025/26, 2026/27 en 2027/28 door meer dan één aanbieder. Inschrijvers wordt gevraagd een programma aan te bieden van maximaal zes lessen per klas tijdens de schoolloopbaan waarbij voldoende aandacht is voor (online) verleidingen en de verantwoordelijkheden die jongeren vanaf hun 18e jaar krijgen zoals verplichte zorgverzekering, zorgtoeslag, DigiD, DUO e.d.
De lessen financiële educatie voortgezet onderwijs hebben als doel het voorkomen, klein houden en oplossen van schulden bij jongeren. Door het aanbieden van financiële educatie in het voortgezet onderwijs zetten wij vooral in op het voorkomen van schulden. De lessen brengen jongeren kennis en vaardigheden bij die hen helpen om financieel zelfredzaam te worden. Ze leren om te gaan met geld, welke risico's er zijn, maar ook welke verplichtingen er ontstaan zodra je de leeftijd van achttien jaar bereikt en waar je eventueel hulp kunt vinden.
