1. The Government of the Republic of Madagascar has received financing from the World Bank to finance the Rural Livelihoods Productivity and Resilience Project (RIZ PLUS), and intends to apply part of this credit to make payments under the Contract subject to this notice.
The contract will be jointly financed by the French Development Agency (AFD). The procurement will be carried out in accordance with the World Bank's procurement rules.
2. The RIZPLUS Project Management Unit is soliciting sealed bids from eligible bidders who meet the required qualifications for the supply of beekeeping materials and equipment for apiary codification. The bidder may bid for one (01) or both (02) lots.
3. The procedure will be conducted through national competitive bidding using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with the "Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing Borrowers, for Goods, Works, Non-Consulting Services and Consulting Services", 7th edition - September 2025, of the World Bank ("the Procurement Regulations").
4. Interested and eligible Bidders may obtain information from the RIZPLUS Project Management Unit, and examine the Request for Quotation Document at the address mentioned below from 08:30 to 16:30 during working days.
5. The Request for Quotation Document in French can be obtained by any interested bidder by submitting a written request by email, stating the bidder's complete contact details (company name, address, email, phone), to the address below.
