Gear Test Bench NSIF

SBB AG is procuring a gear test bench for the "NSIF Arbedo Castione" (Nuovo Stabilimento Industriale Ferroviario) project. This acquisition includes a test bench with a cabin, oil conditioning/filtration system, connection adapters, and complete control hardware and software. The primary purpose is to test revised axle gears from various fleets under partial load conditions. These test runs are crucial for identifying defective or worn components, assembly errors, or malfunctions.

The overall project execution encompasses several key areas, including but not limited to: engineering, project planning, production, delivery, installation, and commissioning. This also covers CE marking, obtaining all necessary operating permits and documentation, and final acceptance, which includes comprehensive system documentation, operating instructions, and a declaration of conformity. Training for personnel and maintenance/service activities, including calibration, during the warranty period are also integral parts of the scope.

Detailed specifications for the subject of the contract will be provided with the invitation to the open procedure tender. An option right exists for an additional gear test bench for the Yverdon-Les-Bains workshop, featuring similar specifications (cabin, oil conditioning/filtration, adapters, complete control system) along with the potential for retrofitting a thermal imaging camera and axial and backlash measurement capabilities. Furthermore, the scope includes a maintenance and service contract, encompassing upkeep, repair, and calibration after the warranty period expires, as well as initial stocking of spare and wear parts.
