Description

Grande Spirit Foundation is inviting proposals from qualified snow removal contractors to establish one or more Standing Offer Agreements for snow clearing and related winter maintenance services at multiple GSF properties throughout Grande Prairie and surrounding communities. The scope includes automatic driving-lane clearing when the applicable snow accumulation trigger is reached, call-out full parking lot clearing following vehicle relocation, snow hauling where authorized, sanding/traction control, ice breakup, and related winter services. Certain priority properties require automatic driving-lane clearing to be completed by 8:00 a.m. Proponents may submit pricing for individual properties, multiple properties, geographic service areas, or the full portfolio. GSF may establish standing offers with one or more successful proponents. Initial Service Period: October 31, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with provision for weather-related extension where required and options for up to two additional winter seasons. Full requirements, property schedules, pricing forms, evaluation criteria and submission instructions are contained in RFP-2026-002. Additional Requirements: Proponents must maintain current WCB Alberta good standing and provide evidence of required commercial general liability and automobile liability insurance. Contractors must provide a 24-hour emergency contact, suitable primary and backup snow-removal equipment, qualified operators, and contingency capacity for equipment breakdowns and major snowfall events. All sites are publicly accessible for exterior review prior to submitting a proposal. Full requirements are contained in RFP-2026-002.
