De gemeente Enkhuizen heeft in 2022 een niet-openbare aanbesteding gehouden voor de ontwikkeling van het woningbouwplan aan de Zilver-Hoogstraat, welke is gegund aan ontwikkelaar Henselmans Bouw- en Ontwikkeling uit Noord-Scharwoude.
Naar aanleiding van inspraakbijeenkomsten en het Woonprogramma 2025-2029 (vastgesteld raad 27 mei 2025) heeft de ontwikkelaar het plan aangepast: binnen het stedenbouwkundige kader i.c. bouwvolume worden meer woningen gerealiseerd, waarvan een deel van de woningen met een kleinere oppervlakte. Het aantal woningen is verhoogd van 55 naar 77 en het aantal parkeerplaatsen is gewijzigd van 60 naar 85.
Wijziging mimimumeis
Om deze aanpassing mogelijk te maken, wordt afgeweken van de oorspronkelijke minimumeis voor gebruiksoppervlakte (GBO) van 60 m² naar 50 m².
