Original language: DutchDe Provincie Overijssel is voornemens een opdracht te verstrekken voor WK-2026-09, Herstelmaatregelen groen KAN (Kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn) De werkzaamheden bestaan in hoofdzaak uit: • Kappen van bomen in houtsingels • Dunnen en verwijderen opslag amerikaanse eiken • Dunnen boomvormers • Verwijderen exoten • Randsnoei langs aangrenzende percelen van agrariërs • Randsnoei langs kanaalzijde t.b.v. functionele eisen • Bijplanten bosplantsoen • Bijkomende werkzaamheden Het werk is gelegen langs Kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn, beginnend ter hoogte van de splitsing Lateraalkanaal/Kanaal Almelo-Nordhorn nabij Sluiskade Noordzijde 200 Almelo, tot aan de grens met Duitsland nabij Grensweg 25, Denekamp. De lengte bedraagt ca. 25 km per zijde. Het werk heeft betrekking op beide zijdes waardoor de totale lengte ca. 50 km bedraagt.
