Original language: isVegagerðin býður hér með út breikkun Hringvegar frá Vallá að Hvalfjarðarvegi. Á kaflanum verða tvö hringtorg, tvö ný undirgöng við annars vegar við Grundarhverfi, og hins vegar við Arnarhamar sem og framlenging núverandi undirganga við Klébergsskóla, auk hliðarvega og stíga. Verkið er samstarfsverkefni Vegagerðarinnar, Reykjavíkurborgar, Veitna, Ljósleiðarans og Mílu. Um er að ræða breikkun á 5,6 km löngum kafla Hringvegar frá Vallá að Hvalfjarðarvegi. Breikka á núverandi 2 akreina veg í 2+1 og 2+2 veg með aðskildum akbrautum. Í verkinu eru hringtorg, staðsteypt undirgöng, stálplötuundirgöng og framlenging núverandi undirganga við Klébergsskóla, áningarstaður og hliðarvegir. Þörf er á einhverjum fergingum þrátt fyrir að farið hafi verið af stað með töluvert af þeim í framkvæmdum við 1. áfanga breikkunar. Verkinu tilheyra ræsi, regnvatnslagnir, veglýsing, lagnir fyrir upplýsingakerfi Vegagerðarinnar og breytingar á lögnum veitufyrirtækja. Helstu magntölur eru: Fylling/ferging – Fyllingar/fergingar 104.000 m 3 – Skeringar, efni flutt á losunarstað 42.000 m 3 – Sigplötur 63 stk. – Nýir skurðir 5.900 m 3 – Fyllt í núverandi skurði 3.000 m 3 – Jarðvegsdúkur 57.000 m 2 – Grjótræsi nýtt 460 m 3 – Grjótræsi fyllt í núv. skurð 2.400 m3 Hringvegur, vegagerð – Skeringar, efni flutt á losunarstað 45.000 m 3 – Fyllingar (fláafleygar innifaldir) 33.000 m 3 – Stálræsi 240 m
