Inkoop Challenge Rantsoenen met gunning
Defensie start de eerste Nederlandse Inkoop Challenge met gunning als innovatief inkoopinstrument
De krijgsmacht bereidt zich voor op een forse groei in de vraag naar operationele rantsoenen: van 100.000 stuks vijf jaar geleden naar 700.000 stuks nu. Met een potentiële piek richting 5.000.000 stuks in een oorlogsscenario. Tegelijkertijd vragen geopolitieke spanningen en kwetsbare internationale aanvoerketens om meer strategische autonomie.
Defensie daagt daarom industrie/markt en kennisinstellingen uit om samen te werken aan een nieuwe generatie militaire rantsoenen die de inzetbaarheid versterken, de logistieke voetafdruk verkleinen en de afhankelijkheid van buitenlandse leveranciers verminderen. Dit is de eerste keer dat Nederland een Inkoop Challenge met gunning als innovatiegericht inkoopinstrument inzet, een aanpak die ook in Europa uniek is.

Februari 2027: Aanpassen propositie;
Maart 2027: Selectie, Gunning en implementatie;
Oktober 2027: Tussentijdse evaluatie.
