Late notification OCCUPATIONAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES

SK Hankintapalvelut Oy is conducting a procurement process for the statutory occupational healthcare services (Kela reimbursement class 1) and occupational healthcare medical services (Kela reimbursement class 2), along with specified examinations, for the personnel of TAYS Sydänkeskus Oy (Sydänsairaala companies). The Sydänsairaala group currently comprises the parent company TAYS Sydänkeskus Oy and its subsidiary SK Hankintapalvelut Oy. At the time of the tender request, the operational sites of the Sydänsairaala companies are located in Tampere, Valkeakoski, Hämeenlinna, and Jyväskylä. Sydänsairaala is a comprehensive cardiac care center, treating patients requiring cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery. It provides services to the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services County, Kanta-Häme Wellbeing Services County, Central Finland Wellbeing Services County, and other healthcare clients and patients. The procurement covers: 1) Statutory and preventive occupational healthcare, Kela reimbursement class 1 (Occupational Healthcare Act Sections 4 and 12). This includes workplace assessments, provision of statutory information, guidance and advice, health examinations (pre-employment and ongoing health monitoring, statutory health checks, radiation work examinations), maintenance of work capacity support activities, arrangements for monitoring sick leave, and accident prevention. 2) Medical services, Kela reimbursement class 2 (Occupational Healthcare Act Section 14). These services encompass consultations with occupational health nurses and physicians, including associated laboratory and X-ray services as detailed in Appendix 2, as well as consultations with occupational physiotherapists and occupational psychologists. 3) Annual application for Kela reimbursement. The occupational healthcare provider will submit the necessary cost specifications and reports, and pre-fill the application electronically directly into Kela's system for review and approval by a Sydänsairaala representative.
