Disposable cholangioscopes for the endoscopy unit

HUS Group requested offers for disposable cholangioscopes, a central unit, and device-specific consumables for the diagnosis and procedures of the biliary and pancreatic ducts. This was a package where a disposable cholangioscope is connected to a multi-use central unit. The procurement includes one (1) sub-area based on the package to be procured: 1. Disposable cholangioscopes for the endoscopy unit. This was a total procurement, meaning the procurement was not divided into parts. All mandatory products for the sub-area/product group had to be offered. The subject of the procurement and the products are described in more detail in Annex 2 Price and Product Form of the request for proposals. The procurement will be carried out using a usage fee service model, where the provider only charges for the disposable parts. The multi-use parts, such as the central unit, will be lent to the Customer by the provider for the duration of use. Usage fees for video central units will be covered by disposable cholangioscopes. The offer included at least the requirements listed in Annex 4A "Draft Agreement" and Annex 4B "Services and Sanctions" of the request for proposals. The subject of the procurement also included additional products related to the offered products, such as additional sizes and accessories, which are indicated on tab 3 of the additional offer form in Annex 2 Price and Product Form. During the contract period, products belonging to the product groups covered by the contract, which are not specified in Annex 2 Price and Product Form, may also be procured in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement. The objective was to obtain safe and reliable products for the selection through competition. The goal is to ensure good supply reliability and product availability when needed. The contract period is two (2) years, after which the contract may be extended indefinitely. The products requested in the request for proposals will be used by HUS Group (HUS). Approximately 80 procedures/cholangioscopies are performed annually at HUS's Meilahti Endoscopy Unit. HUS's Meilahti Endoscopy Unit currently has two (2) video central units owned by HUS. The contract to be awarded from the tender will be used if the usage volume of the units increases and HUS purchases new video central units or decides to replace the current devices. At the time of publication of the request for proposals, HUS estimates that a maximum of 0-2 new video central units will be purchased in the next two years. This is an estimate, and the contracting authority does not commit to the stated procurement quantities and actual consumption volumes indicated in the request for proposals. Final order quantities may be higher or lower than indicated. Considering disposable cholangioscopes compatible with potentially the Customer's own video central units and the estimated maximum number of new equipment purchases, the estimated value of the procurement is approximately €520,000 / 48 months.
