Kartoitukset toteutetaan ESKEn ESKEH-menetelmällä kartoituslomakkeita ja Esteettömyyskartoitusopasta noudattaen. Kartoitus kattaa kohteiden sisätilat, ulkoalueet ja kulkureitit. Jokaisesta kohteesta toimitetaan kirjallinen kartoitusraportti mittaustuloksineen, valokuva-aineistoineen, täytettyin ESKEH-lomakkein sekä toimenpide-ehdotuksineen. Tarjousten valintaperusteena on kokonaistaloudellinen edullisuus (hinta 40 %, kartoittajan osaaminen 35 %, raportointilaatu 25 %).
