The subject of the procurement is the provision of maintenance and repair services for domestic and institutional appliances to clients during weekdays between 7 AM and 4 PM, primarily in the Lappeenranta area, but also in other municipalities of South Karelia. Repair service means repair work ordered separately by the client related to the functionality or operational condition of the appliances. Maintenance service means maintenance operations for the appliances, such as annual maintenance or scheduled maintenance performed according to the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.
The procurement is divided into two sub-areas as follows:
Sub-area 1: Maintenance and repair services for domestic appliances
Sub-area 2: Maintenance and repair services for institutional appliances
Domestic appliances to be maintained and repaired include, for example, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washing machines. Institutional appliances to be maintained and repaired include washing machines, dryers, and drying cabinets in apartment buildings, service homes, hospitals, and institutions. This procurement does not include the maintenance and repair of institutional kitchen appliances or cleaning machines, nor maintenance and repairs covered by warranty.
Clients use several brands of domestic and institutional appliances. The tenderer must specify in its offer which brands of domestic and institutional appliances the tenderer can service and repair. During the contract period, the number of client sites and appliances to be repaired may increase or decrease. The procurement does not include a minimum purchase obligation; the client will procure maintenance and repair services according to its needs.
A maximum of two (2) contract suppliers will be selected per sub-area for the framework agreement, unless there are fewer acceptable suppliers. A tenderer may submit an offer for one or more sub-areas. Partial offers within sub-areas are not accepted. The selection criterion is the most economically advantageous offers that meet the suitability requirements and the criteria set in the tender request. The most economically advantageous offers are those that receive the highest total price points in the comparison, i.e., are the cheapest in price.
The goal is for the actual contract period to begin on 01.10.2026 and end on 30.9.2028. In addition, the contracting entity reserves the right to extend the contract by one year at a time, for a maximum of two option years (1+1), if it so wishes.
