Es ist in Abstimmung mit der BfN-Kommunikations- und Social Media-Strategie eine Kommunikationsstrategie für den Meeresnaturschutz im BfN zu entwickeln. Die Entwicklung der Strategie umfasst folgende Bausteine: Situationsanalyse, Entwicklung von Kommunikationszielen, Zielgruppenanalyse, Formulierung von Kernbotschaften / Narrativen, Erarbeitung von Maßnahmenpaketen unter Nutzung verschiedener, zielgruppengerechter, effektiver Kommunikationskanäle (bei Nutzung der existierenden Kanäle des BfN), Zeit- und Finanzplanung, Erarbeitung von Vorschlägen zur Erfolgskontrolle. Der Entwurf ist auch mit der Kommunikationsstrategie des BMUKN zum Meeresnaturschutz abzustimmen. Zudem soll die bis Ende 2026 fertig gestellte Strategie für die digitale Kommunikation des Meeresnaturschutzes des BfN Eingang in die umfassende Kom-munikationsstrategie finden. Doppelarbeiten, z.B. zu Zielgruppen und Kommunikationszielen sind hierbei zu vermeiden. Ebenso hat ein enger Austausch mit dem BfN-Projekt „Naturschutzkommunikation – zielgruppengerecht, zeitgemäß und wirksam (NatKomm)“ stattzufinden, das Mitte 2026 starten soll. So soll sichergestellt werden, dass auch Erkenntnisse aus diesem Projekt in die Entwicklung einer Kommunikationsstrategie für den Meeresnaturschutz einfließen.
